Like the reviewer before me, I have to say that the quality of the DVD’s in this set is sub-par. (The content, as any fan of the show already knows, is fine.)

The DVD’s exhibit artifacts and jerky motion despite my having an excellent Sony upconverting DVD player and 40″ Sony Bravia LCD connected via HDMI.

None of my other DVD’s have these issues…whether my 50 or so movies or the half dozen or so series (Sopranos, The Wire, Seinfeld etc.)

This is not in any way to say the shows are unwatchable or unenjoyable. It is merely an observation that the quality of the engineering etc. leaves much to be desired.

I don’t think these are knock-offs as they were purchased directly from amazon.com…however, had they not been on sale for $94 (and had I not had a gift certificate to further lower the price) I’d have returned the set to amazon. I only decided to hold on to it as my wife is a big fan and doesn’t mind the minor glitches (which I find somewhat annoying and distracting).

Bestsellers Sole F80 Treadmill. We have only had this treadmill for a few weeks but are very pleased with its performance. It was delivered into our garage and, since it is very heavy, we decided to set it up and use it in the garage. Set up was quick and easy. Four people use it daily and we have not encountered any problems with the unit. It is well constructed for its main purpose.The speakers are a little wimpy and the fans need to be supplemented by larger house fans for some users. For the price this treadmill appears to be very suitable for home use and if anything does go wrong the warrenties on the components refect the manufacturer’s confidence in the product.

I am a big reader so I love my Kindle. I started with the Iphone app, but I used up my phones battery too fast. Decided to invest in the Kindle and love it! Even reading for many hours, the battery lasts me several days and it fully charges overnight when it gets low. I’ve found I can download and play games on it, let it read to me while I drive, and can go online using the basic browser. Was excited to find all the additional things I could do besides read. I carry my Kindle with me pretty much all the time so always have a book to read. The extras are just a pleasant supprise.
My only complaint is the very day my Kindle was delivered, the price dropped substantially. I wish Amazon would have credited the difference to my account since I am a long-time customer. A backlight would have been nice, but I think the new generation of Kindle does have a lighted screen.

One thing I know, it was a heck of a buy when compared to other starting instruments made for children. I also ordered a starting music book for guitar from Amazon which her mother is using to teach her self and Emma how to play.
